  1. Nova scoia is know for its fish/fishing we have alot of fish Salmon so that is we as canadians have to EXPORT IT.

  5. Canada exports a lot of things usally for what industrie they're in charge of. British columbia would export fish and wood and New Brunswick would export lobster. Quebec and ontario would export souvineirs. Theres another province that sells cars too right?. The countrey we usally export to is the U.S.A. We have things imported from U.S.A. and China mostly.

Canada has been a big exporter with wood because in the 19th century british immagrints came here to canada and when the british would go home they would bring lumber back because they had so much space on their ships.It was a good idea because they were using unused space and if somebody got bored or had nothing to do they could tend to the wood.   9. Sugar, zinc and different types of metal are fastest growing Canadian exports to the U.S.
    And then Canada reseves or in other words imports copper, gold and nuclear fuels witch are the fast-growing imports into Canada from America.
    Canada also exports Lumber to the U.S.

    By reading the information on the online web site that has been posted I was able to figure out that the U.S. trades alot of goods to Canada and so does Canada to the U.S.

  10. P.E.I exports either frozen potatoes (25.4%) or fresh potatoes (13.2%) potatoes all over Canada.P.E.I also exports frozen and prepared lobsters and some lumber.

  11. Canada imports fruits/vegetables, crude petroleum, energy products, metals, chemicals, plastics, aircraft machinery, cars and car parts. From the usa. Canada exports zinc, uranium, gold, nickel, aluminium, and lead.
    Oil, gas, electricity, uranium, maple syrup, hockey sticks. It exports to all over the world.

  12. some things that Canada exports are: timber, maple syrup, gemstones, uranium, technologies, machinery, and also power. Canada exports these things because it has a lot of these things and wants to trade them for other goods.

Some of Canada's natural resources are zinc and wheat.Canada imports electronic divices such as video games and tvs.I think Canada imports from china because usually alot of toys and eletronics are from china for example: I got a toy race car and it said "made in china".Canada exports mapel syrup, gemstones and copper.Canada exportes to china because to keep the econemy.jr gr 6 :)

  14. B.C. exports mostly forestry (trees) and Saskatchewan mostly exports wheat. Ontario imports parts for cars mostly from the U.S. Some of Canada`s Natuarl resouces are, Energy (oil), forestry (trees),fishing, and Agricultural (farm) products

  15. Canada has been exporting wood and other forestry products like paper. We export it to the United States, Japan and other Asian countries. Canada also exports wheat. We export wheat to United States, China, Japan, Iran, South Korea and Brazil.

    Canada imports oranges from the United States and Mexico. Oranges need a hot climate to grow and southern United States and Mexico are always hot.

  17. I agree with Jacob. Canada imports fruits like oranges from United States and Mexico. This is because oranges need a hot wheather to grow and Canada has four seasons and two of the seasons are quite cold. CLARA :)

  18. Canada exports Maple Syrup to many countries such as Japan, China, Russia, Mexico and the United States. Canada is the largest producer for Maple Syrup and this is because Maple Syrup comes from Maple trees and we have A LOT of maple trees in Canada. That is why are flag has a maple leaf.

    Canada imports toys and clothing from China. I think this is because China has a lot of resources to make those things so they trade it with other countries for things they need. CLARA :)

Canada exports 4.2 million tonnes of wood pulp to the USA, 42,000 tonnes to Nordic countries, 2.4 million tonnes to the UK and some of Europe and 1.9 million tonnes to the Pacific Rim (China, Japan and Korea). Canada imports 284,000 tonnes of wood pulp from the USA. I think we are very lucky to live in a developed country because we have so many things but, unfortunately countries like Haiti which are developing aren't as lucky as we are. We also import millions of things from China because like Clara said "China has the resources to make lots of things." Also, about 43% of Canada's wood pulp production is exported. Eric 5:)

  24. Mexico exports Electrical Machinery Vehicles,Machinery Mineral Fuel, Oil, Furniture And Bedding& Medical Instruments: Vegetables Edible Fruit And Nuts to canada. We export Plastic tabaco and many many more goods.

  27. Canada a imports fruits from the U.S.A. I think this is because some of the fruits needs a hot weather to grow and U.S.A is a country where all the seasons are pretty hot where in Canada, our half of our seasons our pretty cold.

    Did you know that Canada main trading partner is U.S.A because since they are so close to each other, it is so easy to import and export. CLARA :)

Canada is one of the world's largest exporter of minerals and mineral products. The United States is Canada's biggest mineral trade partner, receiving 75.1% of all mineral exports. British Columbia is Canada's largest coal exporting province and produced 28 million tonnes of coal in 1997 - 36% of Canada's coal. (WOW)
